Other Stuff About Me

Currently, I work as the Director of Youth Affairs at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. (Thanks to all of you who have contributed to my growth over the last four years.)

To keep it simple, I am just a guy that has had the opportunity to do some exciting things  and meet some cool people along the way. I did get the opportunity to taste that childhood dream I had (to play in the NFL). I had a brief career as a safety and linebacker for the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, and the Berlin Thunder (of the NFL Europe). It was definitely all that I could have imagined (even though it ended before I really got going). But God had a different plan and I am just as excited about that.

Most people do not know that I take things very seriously,  because I care very deeply. Especially when it comes to competing and winning. But, I will have fun doing it. I will joke about almost anything. There are only two or three things that are off limits; everything else is fair game. (So don't get sensitive on me.) I am serious, but not tight.

I could go on about some of the things I have achieved and the special friends I am blessed to know, but that is not how I want to be measured. In the end, I want you to know that I am an ordinary guy with an extraordinary mission to influence and shape the culture around us. God has created me for that purpose. I hope to be an inspiration to you in some way that encourages you to do what is in your heart. Some days I do not have a clue, but I get up everyday looking for the next opportunity to influence. And when the day ends, I look forward to the next, until their gone, hoping I was a divine influence that helped fan your flame.
